What’s great about the area, what should people know about it?

Finchley is a very family orientated part of London with fantastic schooling, green spaces and an array of restaurants with the cuisine on offer from around the globe.

The area has two Northern Line tube stations – Finchley Central & West Finchley - and excellent road links including the A406, A41 and M1 making it very accessible and an easy commute into London as well as the home counties.

What are the best roads to live on?

The most prestigious roads with the largest homes include Hendon Avenue and Dollis Avenue in Church End, but there is a huge array of property available catering to First Time Buyers and rental investors as well as families.

Hendon Lane is home to the greatest number of luxury apartments.

There are some really great views across Dollis Brook the West and Victoria Park situation in the Northern part of Finchley Central.

Hidden Gems – is there something about the area no one really knows about?

Stephens House and Grounds. Built by ‘Inky’ Stephens (the inventor of indelible ink) for his family. The grounds are a wonderful place for a quiet stroll, and where you will come across a statue of Spike Milligna (the well-known typing error) who was the first president of the Finchley Society.

The area of Finchley Central has grown from the smaller area of Church End which runs south from the tube station to the A406 North Circular Road.

Near this junction is College Farm which was not that long ago a fully working farm but is now one of London’s largest equestrian and pet stores.
